We provide a range of tools (some developed by RST, others in cooperation with or by our partners) for users of our middleware platform that facilitate working with Gamma V and developing and running Gamma based applications.
1. Gamma Explorer
Originally envisioned as nothing more than a simple too for peeking at individual process variables, the RST-developed Gamma Explorer has grown into a "swiss army knife" tool for a wide variety of tasks to be performed during the runtime of middleware based applications. It facilitates configuration and control of the Gamma Service and offers comprehensive access to the active data model. Reading and writing to any PV as well as control of Gamma's integral simulation function are further supported by integrated function generators allowing you to automatically generate varying signals in a choice of different waveforms that can be fed to any input or parameter in the model.
2. Gamma Configurator
With the help of our configuration tool you can create complex data models faster and easier than ever before. Gone are the days of painstakingly editing XML files by hand!
3. Gamma Visualizer
Our new Gamma Visualizer offers a way to create data visualizations and complete user interfaces quickly and efficiently without programming by linking interface elements directly to the data model. The interfaces are generated in QT, so they can be used across different platforms.
Besides the RST-developed suite of Gamma tools, there are also several other options that have been developed by or in cooperation with our partners. These include i.a. XiBase9, a visualization solution that offers remote interfaces via its integrated web server, a MATLAB/Simulink blockset, or the object oriented graphical development environment eTrice.
